From June 19 to 23, five students visited the international exhibition EXPO-2017, held in Astana. The trip was financed by the funds that the students of the Intellectual school collected at the charity fair.
On November 23, 2016 students and teachers, as well as parents of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Aktau, organized a charity fair “Art-fair” in honor of the 25th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The money collected was presented to 5 students in need of social assistance for the international exhibition “EXPO-2017”.Children who received a certificate for the exhibition “Energy of the Future” participated in the five-day summer school “Young Ambassadors” EXPO-2017 “, organized by” Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Astana”.
– On November 25, we were presented with a certificate to visit the EXPO-2017 exhibition and the Summer School of Nazarbayev Intellectual School. Then we were very happy. We rejoiced at the opportunity then, as many can watch the exhibition on TV, and we could see it with our own eyes, -says Bayan Sattarova, a participant of the summer school.
During the summer school, participants not only visited the exhibition of Energy of the Future, but also visited other cultural and entertainment centers. They admired visiting the memorial complex “Astana-Baiterek”, ethno-memorial complex over the open sky “Atameken”, the National Museum, the Library of the First President RK, the military-historical museum of the Armed Forces of the RK, the oceanarium “Duman” etc. At the exhibition, the children got acquainted not only with scientific innovations of different countries, but also with culture and traditions.
– We saw plentiful scientific inventions, studies, looked at the energy of water, wind and sun. There are a lot of pavilions. Amidst them, we visited the pavilions of Great Britain, Jordan, Azerbaijan and Africa, – says the participant Roman Pugachev.
The Energy of the Future, presented at the main Kazakhstan exhibition “Nur Alem”, in the national pavilions of China, Germany, South Korea, Russia and other pavilions, demonstrated to
the young ambassadors of EXRO a global picture of the new world. All participants were supplied with backpacks “EXPO-Tartu”.
– Every day we were taken to various excursions around the city. We visited many interesting museums dedicated to our state and even the library of the first President. Also, we visited the exhibition EXPO-2017, which had a huge impact on us. For 5 days in Astana, we were given very good gifts. Each of the participants was treated with warmth and cordiality and this pleased me very much. I am very grateful to all the people who organized this trip. I hope this will be done more often, because every student of every city in Kazakhstan should know the capital, -said Diana Varibus .
Diana’s grandma also expressed her opinion about the trip.

There were 100 students who had been given certificates and got a chance to go to the summer school “Young ambassadors” EXPO-2017″.
Students of Intellectual Schools presented tickets to Astana from the collected money at special charity fairs. The main sponsor was the charity fund “Halyk” of the Halyk Bank.
