«Parent University» started their work

Parent University is a project aimed at solving a number of issues related to social and family education, affecting the development of education and upbringing of NIS students and strengthening family ties.

On October 12, within the framework of the project, was the first meeting of the parent committee, school administration and teaching staff took place online.

Deputy Director for educational work Altynzer Amirovna acquainted the participants with the rules, goals, programs and types of work of the «Parent University».

The parent university program was developed in accordance with the «Regulations on parental universities» approved by Protocol No. 323 on June 11, 2020 and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.

The main goal of this project is to see the results by raising children in school and family in the same direction, in the same content.

In addition to parental responsibility, it is necessary to ensure that children learn the pedagogical techniques associated with raising children. The program includes topics that help to meet modern requirements, the needs of parents, and school goals.

In accordance with the age characteristics of students, the proposed modules will be conducted on the basis of specific topics in the form of lectures, trainings, coaching, meetings, seminars, master classes, round tables. A section «Parent University» will be created on the NIS website, which will contain the content of modules (courses) for parents, program and methodological information, questionnaires, tests and other materials for assessing the knowledge gained through feedback.
