Teachers of the subject “English” of the Nazarbayev Intellectual school of Aktau Asel Battalova, Huria Paviz, Altyn Kelimberdieva, and Nurzada Yermaganbetova made video tutorials for students of the Virtual school. Lessons were prepared on the subject “English” for students in grades 5 for the portal vs.nis.edu.kz .These materials will help applicants to enter Nazarbayev Intellectual schools.
– our school’s teachers are members of the project group for the development of Educational programs Of the Center for Educational Programs at the AEO “Nazarbayev Intellectual schools”. The Centre specialists have approached us with the task to create and prepare lessons. After that, our teachers joined together and started developing video tutorials,- mentioned Asel Battolova, English language teacher.

Обучающий материал представлен в виде уроков, лекций, аудио/ видео материалов, учебников. Didactic material includes the development of tasks to consolidate the studied material (tasks/exercises/tests), the algorithm for completing tasks, and answers to tasks.
Since February of this year, the developers have prepared 14 video tutorials for students. They are available on the Virtual school’s website. To view the video, students must register on the site by creating a personal account.
– Now just shoot the lesson, looking at the camera is irrelevant. Therefore, during the shooting, we used various programs, such as Powtoon and iSpring Free Cam to get animation, – says English teacher, author of several training programs Asel Sagynbekovna.
We remind that the virtual school provides students with the opportunity to study in the subjects “Mathematics”, “Kazakh language”, “Russian language”, “English language”, where you can complete tasks to consolidate the passed topics and pass the final test remotely in an online format. Students who have scored 50 percent or more out of the maximum score on the final test are invited to a Vacation school on the basis of Nazarbayev Intellectual schools for full-time classes and consultations on specialized subjects of competitive selection testing.
Training in Virtual and Vacation schools will help students start preparing for admission to the Nazarbayev Intellectual school, improve the effectiveness of training, develop the necessary skills and increase motivation.
Registration for 5th-grade students starts on March 30 and runs until May 24, 2020.
