The Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Chemistry and Biology in Aktau has joined a team of Intellectual Schools that received international CIS accreditation.
A letter of congratulations was signed by the Director of International Accreditation of CIS, Stuart Maclay.
– I am pleased to inform you that the Council of International Schools has decided to immediately assign accreditation to the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Chemistry and Biology in Aktau. My warmest congratulations to you, your staff, and the entire school community on this achievement, – was written in the letter.
In April of this year, a group of CIS experts from different countries of the world arrived in Mangistau, with the purpose to evaluate the organization’s school life and the educational process in accordance with international standards. During five days, experts from Australia, Romania, France, Belgium, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates and Uzbekistan were acquainted with the activities of the school, held meetings with the administration, students, parents, evaluated the educational process.
– International accreditation of CIS opens up broad prospects for school development and continuous self-improvement. This proves that the school is aiming to achieve a high quality of education, – said the school principal Yermek Paizov.
Council of International Schools (CIS) is an organization in the international education system that deals with the accreditation of schools and the development of advanced teaching methods. Intellectual School of Aktau has become the 18th in the NIS system, which received prestigious status.
